The PCIe-6343 (Part Number: 781047-01) is a Multifunction I/O Device manufactured by National Instruments. This versatile device offers high performance capabilities for applications such as advanced timing functions and retriggering measurement assignments. Equipped with a variety of channels, the NI PCIe-6343 features 16 differential analog inputs that can also be used as 32 single ended inputs. Additionally, the device features 4 analog output channels and 48 digital I/O channels. Each input channel of the device features 16 bits of ADC resolution of the input channels is 16 bits. With a bandwidth of 1.2 MHz and a FIFO buffer size of 2,047 samples, the PCIe-6343 provides a high-speed performance for applications of all sizes.
The sampling rate of the NI PCIe-6343 has no minimum, and goes up to 500 kS/sec for both single and multi-channels. This multifunction device also offers various options Analog Input, with an input range that can be adjusted to +0.2 V, +1V, +5 V, or +10V. However, the working voltage must not increase beyond +11 V. The analog input channels of the PCIe-6343 multifunction I/O device are protected against overvoltage, featuring protection of ±25 V for up to two AI pins when the device is on, and protection of ±15 V for up to two AI pins when the device is off.
The 4 output channels of the PCIe-6343 I/O device feature 16 bits of resolution and support multichannel sampling. When a single channel is used, this rate of sampling is 900 kS/sec. If 4 channels are sampled, the maximum rate reduces to 719 kS/sec/ch. The output voltage of the PCIe-6343 is in the range of +10 V. The NI PCIe-6343 boasts 48 digital PFI channels, each functioning independently and configurable as either input or output.
