The National Instruments 781812-01 is an 18-slot PXI Express DC Redundant Chassis. It is also known as PXIe-1066DC module and supports high-bandwidth data transfer with its integrated PCI Express lanes that enables rapid communication between the chassis and connected devices. The backplane architecture facilitates efficient data throughput, critical for applications requiring fast data processing and transfer rates. Its modular design promotes maintainability that results in a minimal mean time to repair (MTTR).

The NI 781812-01 chassis features 9 x PXI peripheral slots, 4 x PXI Express peripheral slots, and 4 x hybrid peripheral slots that provides flexibility and compatibility with a wide range of modules. The module offers a maximum system bandwidth of 3.132 GB/s that facilitates high-speed data transfer and processing. The 781812-01 unit includes redundant power supplies and fans that ensure continuous operation even in the event of a component failure.
