The 782383-01 is the identifying part number for the PXIe-2532B, a high-density PXI matrix switch module from National Instruments designed to enhance high-channel-count automated test systems. This PXI matrix switch module can manage a maximum current of 0.5 A per channel, whether switching or carrying current, and supports a maximum switching voltage of 100 V both channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground. With the ability to handle up to 10 W of power, each channel is appropriate for a variety of uses. Low initial resistance is ensured by the initial DC path resistance of less than 1 Ω, and the end-of-life resistance is assured to be at least 2 Ω. Excellent isolation is ensured by the open channel resistance being more than 1 × 10^9 Ω.
In terms of precision, the thermal electromotive force (EMF) is less than 50 µV for a 1-wire configuration and less than 20 µV for a 2-wire configuration, which contributes to the accuracy of measurements and tests. With its onboard relay counting capability, the 782383-01ensures deterministic operation and allows relay monitoring. It also supports hardware triggers, with a minimum pulse width of 150 ns and input triggers sourced via PXI trigger lines <0...7>, to increase test throughput. PXI trigger lines <0...7> are the target of output triggers, which have a software-selectable pulse width of between 1 and 62 µs.
The 782383-01's physical components are rhodium reed relays, which are renowned for their dependability and longevity. Two 150-position Samtec ERM8-EM series I/O connectors are included with it. The module may be stored between -20 and 70 degrees Celsius and works between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius. It is rated for Pollution Degree 2 conditions, and may only be used indoors. It supports relative humidity levels ranging from 5% to 85% non-condensing.
