National Instruments SCXI-1334 Terminal Block

The NI SCXI-1334 (Part Number: 777687-34) is a Front-Mounting Terminal Block created for use with the SCXI-1129 High Density Matrix. The SCXI 1334 configures the SCXI-1129 as a 4 x 64, 2-wire matrix and delivers direct connectivity of signal wires to the screw terminals inside the Terminal Block. The Terminal Block works with the utilization of matrix expansion plugs and matrix expansion cables to result in instantaneous row expansion and column expansion. External wiring is not necessary.

The SCXI-1334 has terminals for scanner advanced output and external input trigger signals. There are also two 128-pin DIN connectors for linking columns between modules and 10-pin headers for linking rows between modules via expansion cables. The user should keep in mind that this model is rated for Measurement Category I, which means it can carry signal voltages of 150 V maximum. The NI SCXI 1334 can withstand 800 V impulse voltage maximum. This Terminal Block cannot be used for connecting to signals or for measurements within Categories II, III, or IV. The user should not connect to MAINS supply circuit, such as wall outlets, of 115 or 230 VAC. If dangerous voltages (>42.4 Vpk/60 VDC) are existing on a relay terminal, then safety low-voltage (≤42.4 Vpk/60 VDC) must not be linked to another relay terminal.

The number of columns of a matrix can be extended with the use of two or more SCXI-1334 Terminal Blocks. However, the user should only link the same type of terminal block together when utilizing matrix expansion cables. Linking various types of terminal blocks can harm the module or the devices linked to the module.
