Part number 777642-04 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments PCI-232/4 Serial Interface Module. It is a 4-port PCI card that works with the RS232 serial protocol. The 777642-04 supports baud rates up to 115/2 kb/s and features a FIFO of 64 Bytes. The power requirement of the module is 70 mA (typical) and 150  mA (maximum) at +5 VDC and 40 mA (typical) and 400 mA (maximum) at ±12 VDC.
