National Instruments USB-6353 Multifunction I/O Device
The USB-6353 (Part Number: 781441-01) from NI is a Multifunction I/O Device that includes 32 single-ended analog input channels that can also be operated as 16 differential channels. This device offers an impressive sample rate through its input channels, with 1.25 MS/s as the highest sample rate for a single channel and 1.00 MS/s as the maximum sample rate for multiple channels. The timing resolution of the input channels is 10 ns, and the USB-6353 offers a timing accuracy of 50 ppm.
The USB-6353 Device has one analog trigger which can be utilized for different triggering functions. The source level of the trigger for AI<0.31> is ±Full scale, and the source level of the trigger for APFI<0.1> is ±10 Volts. The analog trigger offers measurements with 16 Bits of resolution, and it is capable of operating within different modes. The most common mode is analog edge triggering. The analog trigger provides an input resistance of 10 kΩ. This Multifunction I/O Device has different protection values for the ‘on’ and ‘off’ modes, with a protection value of ±30 V when the power is on and ±15 V when the power is off.
The NI USB-6353 has four analog output channels which also have 16 bits of resolution for their measurements. These output channels provide digital signals and convert the signals into analog signals. These channels provide output resistance that measures 0.2Ω. The current drive for the output of this high-quality device is ±5 mA. The output channels of the USB-6353 are also capable of working in different modes- the most common one for waveforms being the Periodic Waveform Regeneration mode.
