This mounting kit offers an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C and a storage temperature tolerance of -40 °C to 85 °C, all while complying with various important industrial standards. A modest level of protection against dust and other particles is ensured by its compliance with the IP40 ingress protection standard. The cRIO-9912 can be used in noncondensing environments with humidity levels between 10% and 90% as well as for storage in noncondensing environments with humidity levels between 5% and 95%. Utilizing a maximum working altitude of 5,000 meters and a pollution degree of 2, this kit is designed to be used in a wide range of demanding industrial applications.
The cRIO-9912 DIN Rail Mount Kit is also designed to support significant shock and vibration in compliance with IEC 60068-2-64 requirements for random vibration (5 g, 10 Hz to 500 Hz) and sinusoidal vibration (5 g, 10 Hz to 500 Hz). It can withstand forces of up to 30 g for 11 milliseconds and 50 g for 3 milliseconds throughout the duration of 18 shocks at six orientations. It has survived testing in compliance with IEC 60068-2-27 specifications for operating shock. This ensures that the mounted chassis will remain stable even under conditions of significant mechanical stress.
