National Instruments cRIO-9056 CompactRIO Controller
Featured with a 1.33 GHz Dual-Core CPU and 4 GB Storage, the NI cRIO-9056 (Part Number: 786426-01, 146494C-01L) is an 8-Slot CompactRIO Controller. This model is a deployable, rugged Controller for control and data acquisition applications and offers an Artix-7 FPGA, Intel Atom dual-core processing and eight C series module compatible slots. The NI cRIO 9056 operates on the NI Linux Real-Time (RT) operating system and offers synchronized timing and communications through the network using TSN.
The network/Ethernet port incorporated in this Controller is a standard, IEEE 802.3 compatible port, which supports auto-negotiated communication rates. For network timing and synchronization, the cRIO 9056 uses IEEE 802.1AS-2011 protocol. This model comes with two USB ports: Port 1 and Port 2. Port 1 is a USB 2.0, Hi-Speed, Type-C device port that can transfer data at 480 Mb/s maximum data rate. Port 2 is a USB Type-C host port that can transfer data at 5 GB/s. The National Instruments cRIO-9056 has a MicroSD card slot that can be used with MicroSD and MicroSDHC cards.
This CompactRIO Controller features a powerful, reconfigurable FPGA, which offers 94400 flip-flops, 47, 200 6-input LUTs, and 180 DSP slices. The DDR3L 1 GB volatile memory DRAM used in this Controller enables it to provide the users with an optimum experience. For synchronization related functions, the cRIO-9056 comes equipped with a Real-Time internal clock that offers up to 200 ppm accuracy. In addition, this National Instruments CompactRIO Controller has four general purpose Counters/Timers as well.
