National Instruments DAQCard-700 Multifunction I/O Device
The DAQCard-700 is an efficient Multifunction I/O Device compatible with the PCMCIA bus interface. The DAQCard-700 is a product of National Instruments. The DAQCard-700 hardware can be programmed and configured with the NI-DAQ driver. The NI-DAQ driver utilizes each feature of the DAQCard-700 that is listed in the datasheet. The DAQCard-700 can be used with application software such as LabWindows and LabVIEW.
The NI DAQCard-700 is an affordable device, making it a great choice for lab work. The DAQCard-700 is a low-power device specially fabricated for computers with a Type II PCMCIA port. Since this device has a low power consumption, it is perfect for portable computers and ensures that remote data acquisition is simple to implement. There is also a standby mode available which utilizes even less power and helps prolong the computer battery life. This Multifunction I/O Device is built with 16 single-ended analog input channels and analog to digital converters for successive approximation. The DAQCard-700 can join digital, analog, or timing signals directly to a card with a 50-pin input/output connector that is fixed as an optional feature. The DAQCard-700 contains 8 input digital lines of TTL standard and 8 digital lines of standard output.
The NI DAQCard-700 features easy to handle calibration and configuration processes for acquisition so that less time is required. The DAQCard-700 has two 16-bit timers for measuring input/output time. This Multifunction I/O Device has DC input coupling available. The input impedance of the DAQCard-700 is 1 GΩ in parallel with 40 pF.
