National Instruments part number 778964-01 is an identifying part number for the PXI-6515, a bank-isolated PXI Digital I/O Module. This 4-channel, bank-isolated module features a Maximum Voltage Range of 30 Volts and 32 Sink/Source Inputs and 32 Sink Outputs. The industrial digital I/O interface with eight banks of isolated channels allows users to wire each input bank in either a source or sink configuration. Programmable power-up states enable users to configure the initial output states in software, ensuring safe operation when connected to industrial actuators. 

If a computer or application fails, the 778964-01 uses digital I/O watchdogs to switch to a configurable safe output state, which helps in detection and safe recovery from fault conditions. Additionally, programmable input filters eliminate glitches and spikes, providing debouncing for digital switches and relays through a software-selectable digital filter.
