National Instruments 783086-01 PXI Sound and Vibration Module 

Part Number 783086-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments PXIe-4463 Sound and Vibration Module.

The 783086-01 features two output channels that can be configured as differential or pseudodifferential through software. The output channels have DC coupling and can be sampled simultaneously. The module also has a Delta-sigma DAC with a resolution of 24 bits. The sample rate of the module ranges from 100 S/s to 51.2 kS/s with a resolution of less than 45.5 μS/s (depending on the sample rate). Likewise, the DAC oversampled rate is 520.833 kS/s. Furthermore, the FIFO buffer size is 1023 samples, and data transfers occur through Direct Memory Access (DMA) or programmed I/O. 

The 783086-01 also features a PXI Express peripheral module which can be installed in PXI Express chassis or hybrid slots, which accept both PXI and PXI Express modules. There are two timing engines and the reference clock source is the onboard clock. The power module draws a maximum of 3A when supplied with 3.3V and a maximum of 2A with 12 volts. The analog output connector is BNC female.

The 783086-01 measures 6.3 in. × 3.9 inches in physical dimensions and weighs 18.5 oz. It is recommended to use the device in indoor spaces only at an ambient temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C and a relative humidity range of 10% to 90% (noncondensing). Likewise, the module should be cleaned with a soft, nonmetallic brush, dried, and made free from contaminants before operation. Furthermore, the module can be stored at a temperature range of -20 °C to 70 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95% (noncondensing). 

The 783086-01 can self-calibrate upon a software command and it is recommended that you allow the device to self-calibrate when the device temperature differs by more than  ±5 °C from the device temperature where the last calibration was performed. The external calibration interval is 2 years and the warm-up time is 15 minutes.
