National Instruments GPIB-USB-A GPIB Controller
The GPIB-USB-A is a GPIB Controller designed to communicate between GPIB devices and personal computers with Universal Serial Bus ports. This Controller can convert a personal computer to an IEEE-488.2 controller integrated with full functionality to control any GPIB device. The IEEE-488 version 2 controller can control as many as 14 programmable devices through the GPIB interface. The NI GPIB-USB-A can be used either with a laptop or with desktop applications. The data transfer rate for the National Instruments GPIB-USB-A is 650 Kbytes/s. The operating system best suited for this controller is Windows. The software recommended for this controller includes LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio. The compatible driver software for the NI GPIB-USB-A is NI-488.2. The controller is compatible with USB 1.1.
