This device features 4 general purpose 32-bit counters/timers. The PCIe-6346 is designed to deliver high-performance leveraging the multi-core optimized driver and high-throughput PCI Express bus. The multi-ADC architecture of this Multifunction I/O Device makes it capable of offering simultaneous sampling.
The NI-STC3 technology incorporated in the NI PCIe-6346 Multifunction I/O Device allows the device to deliver advanced synchronization and timing functionality, including retriggerable measurement tasks and independent digital and analog timing engines. All these features make the PCIe-6346 an ideal solution for a versatile range of applications, from control and test automation to basic data logging. This Multifunction I/O Device is offered with the NI-DAQmx driver. You can easily configure your device with the help of the configuration utility offered with NI-DAQmx.
The National Instruments PCIe-6346 Multifunction I/O Device can acquire samples at rates up to 500 kS/s/ch simultaneously through all the analog input channels with 10 ns timing resolution. The two analog output channels can operate at a maximum update rate of 840 kS/s with both channels updating simultaneously. For analog outputs, the NI PCIe-6346 comes equipped with Digital-to-Analog converters. This device features 8191 samples sized analog output FIFO that is shared among channels. The frequency generator has 1 channel and 20 MHz, 100 kHz and 10 MHz base clocks. These bases can operate with a maximum accuracy of 50 ppm.
