National Instruments PXI-1031DC PXI Chassis

The NI PXI-1031 DC (Part Number: 779050-01, 191746C-01) is a 3U Chassis with AC/DC power. This model is similar to the PXI-1031 in many ways with the added capability of a DC power input. This model accepts 3U PXI and CompactPCI modules with four module slots available. The PXI-1031DC is well-suited for users who need benchtop development and deployment or users operating in severe and remote conditions. This PXI Chassis meets the tough standards of the remote applications that entail DC power, transportable applications, or in-vehicle applications that involve DC power and a small model. The PXI 1031 DC has two AC input options: 100 to 120 VAC or 200 to 240 VAC, as well as 18 to 30 VDC input with 30 A input current rating at the most extreme.

This Chassis can function in the AC or DC mode of operation. The user can swap from AC to DC sources with continuous operation possible. However, for DC operations, the DC cable (763419-01) is suggested. The DC cable is comprised of a DC power connector, 18 feet of AWG cable, and a high-heat, watertight fuse holder with a 30 A fuse installed. The PXI-1031 DC PXI Chassis has the capability to be rack-mounted. There are several rack-mounting options. The first option is a front rack-mount kit, which can be utilized for 19 inch rack-mounted systems or wall-mounted systems. The other option is a side-handle and rubber-feet kit, which is ideal for portable and desktop applications.
