The PXIe-5830 is a PXI Vector Signal Transceiver. The PXIe-5830 is designed and manufactured by National Instruments. National Instruments sells the PXIe-5830 with the part number 787047-01. The NI PXIe-5830 is not a single device. Rather, the configuration of the PXIe-5830 consists of two different NI modules: the PXIe-5820 Vector Signal Transceiver and the PXIe-3621 Vector Signal Up/Down Converter.

The National Instruments PXIe-5830 PXI Vector Signal Transceiver is used in multiple applications involving radio frequency (RF) signals. The NI PXIe-5830 is used in the testing of numerous wireless standards. The tuning resolution is 4.45 µHz. The vector signal generator section supports a frequency range of 5 GHz to 12 GHz and an instantaneous bandwidth of 1 GHz. Since the National Instruments PXIe-5830 PXI Vector Signal Transceiver is a combined version of two different devices, the power consumption is the summation of both individual modules.
