Keysight/Agilent E1361A VXI Relay Matrix Switch
The Keysight E1361A 2 Wire 4 x 4 Relay Matrix Switch supports a maximum Hi to Lo input voltage of 250 VDC and 250 VAC rms per terminal. Any terminal to chassis voltage rating supports a maximum of 250 VDC and a peak of 354 VAC. Each channel handles a maximum switching load of 40 WDC or 40 VA ACrms at full capacity. The total module power capacity is rated at 320 W DC or 320 VA AC across all channels combined.
The closed channel resistance of the Keysight E1361A Relay Matrix Switch is rated at less than 1.5 Ω per contact under typical operating conditions. At the end of the relay's life, the resistance per contact remains within the 3.5 Ω upper limit. The thermal offset is held below 14 µV differential per signal path to support measurement accuracy requirements. The relay life of the matrix switch is rated at over 10? operations under no load and 10? at maximum load.
The E1361A Relay Matrix Switch provides a -3 dB bandwidth of 10 MHz measured with a 50 Ω source and load. The insertion loss is specified below 0.1 dB for all signal frequencies up to and including 100 kHz. The insertion loss specification is maintained under 3.0 dB at signal frequencies extending up to 10 MHz. The channel-to-channel crosstalk is rated at or below 80 dB at 100 kHz and below 30 dB at 10 MHz.
The insulation resistance of the E1361A Relay Matrix Switch exceeds 10? Ω at temperatures at or above 25°C and 40% humidity. The insulation value remains above 10? Ω at higher ambient conditions of 40°C and 65% relative humidity. The high-to-low capacitance is rated below 150 pF when all relay contacts are in the closed position. The switch uses screw-type removable terminals that are rated for a maximum wire size of 16 AWG. The VXIbus interface capability of this module is classified as an Interrupter with a D16 data width. The interrupt level on the model is user selectable across all levels 1 through 7.
