The current loop can be controlled within a range of 0.1 to 20.2 mA, maintaining consistency from 0 V to 10 VDC. As each channel shares a ground line with a voltage channel, the impact of the returning current from the current channel on the voltage being outputted on the voltage channel is limited. For example, if a user outputs 20 mA on a channel and returns that channel to the device along the mutual ground line in a link with an impedance of 0.1 Ω, the voltage output on the voltage channel sharing the ground line will drop by 2 mV.
The part number 778316-01 provides user-defined power-up states, a range of ±10 V, 8 digital I/O lines, DC output coupling, and allows for independent, user-defined values for the power-on state. It features a 68-pin male I/O connector for connectivity. The NI device has physical dimensions of 3.9 x 6.9 inches. It is recommended to operate within a temperature range of 0 to 55 °C, while the storage temperature range is -20 to 70 °C.
