The part number 779001-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the NI-9211 Input Temperature Module. The input temperature module has (6) six channels, each fulfilling a specific function inside the system. (4) Four of these channels are dedicated to thermocouples, allowing for the simultaneous monitoring of various temperature data. Furthermore, the module includes (1) one channel dedicated solely to internal autozero capabilities, which ensure accurate and dependable measurements by adjusting for any inherent system offsets or drift. Furthermore, it contains another channel dedicated specifically to internal cold-junction compensation, which is crucial in thermocouple measurements where temperature differentials at the junction must be adjusted for accurate readings. 

The module's temperature measurement accuracy varies according to the type of thermocouple used and whether the autozero channel is engaged. When active, the module consumes no more than 170 mW, ensuring that power is used efficiently. In contrast, in sleep mode, power consumption lowers significantly to just 4 mW, suggesting that the module consumes minimum energy when idle, hence improving total energy efficiency. Furthermore, thermal dissipation is comparable with power consumption levels, with both active and sleep modes dissipating a maximum of 170 mW and 4 mW, respectively, even at high temperatures such as 70°C.
