The PCIe-6509 (Part number: 779976-01, 196640C-01L) is an advanced Digital I/O Device from National Instruments. The device comes with 96 digital I/O channels. These channels are bidirectional in nature. The value of the current drive for each channel is 24 mili-amperes. This device comes with the capability to drive external devices directly; this mainly includes the relays that are solid state. It also offers the flexibility to configure any port as an input or output port for the data. The NI PCIe-6509 Digital I/O Device also features programming capabilities, which allows the user to configure output parameters for different operational requirements.

The NI PCIe-6509 Digital I/O Device has multiple accessories available, including cables and connectors of different types. It enables the user to quickly set up the device.
