This module can auto-calibrate to correct displacement and adjust errors. No external circuit is necessary for this module; an internal reference ensures high accuracy stability over time and through temperature changes. It features 8 differential current input channels, each with a ground reference (AI GND) and a 16-bit ADC resolution, accommodating an input range of ±20 mA. Additionally, the module includes 2 current output channels, each with a 16-bit DAC resolution. In this model, sensors can generate electrical signals to measure physical aspects like temperature, force, sound, or light.
Commonly used sensors include strain gauges, thermocouples, thermistors, angular encoders, linear encoders, and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). The 779624-01 comes with two counter/timers with a resolution of 32 bits. It supports a variety of output applications, including pulse generation, pulse trains with dynamic updates, frequency division, and equivalent time sampling. Data transfers are handled by a dedicated scatter-gather DMA controller for each counter/timer and can also be managed through interrupts and programmed I/O.
