National Instruments PCI-6232 Multifunction DAQ
Featured with 60 VDC Bank Isolation (continuous), the National Instruments PCI-6232 (Part Number: 779617-01) is a 16-Bit Multifunction DAQ board or data acquisition device. This model comes with 16 Analog Inputs and 24 Volt Digital I/O, including 6 digital inputs, as well as 4 sourcing digital outputs. The NI PCI-6232 has an output range of ±10 V and offers 2 DC coupled analog outputs at 500 kS/s maximum update rate (with 1 channel) and 450 kS/s per channel (with two channels).
For digital input channels, this device has a dedicated input Port 0. This port can operate over an input voltage range of 0 V to 30 V. Port 1 in this module facilitates its four digital output channels. The NI PCI 6232 comes with an incorporated frequency generator with 1 to 16 divisors, 10 MHz, and 100 kHz base clocks. The output from this frequency generator can be routed to any RTSI or PFI terminal. For the device to device triggering and various other synchronization functions, this DAQ device comes with an integrated RTSI bus.
The PCI-6232 Multifunction DAQ has 1 D-SUB type 37-pin I/O connector. This model is a 9.7 cm × 15.5 cm printed circuit board. This DAQ device can be deployed in any 3.5 or 5 Volt signal environment and draws 0.7 A of current from +5 V bus and 20 mA from +12 V bus during no load conditions. While operating in AO waveform modes, the PCI-6232 can generate various kinds of waveforms also.
PCI-6232 Legacy Status has been announced by National Instruments, but will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
