With full vector analysis, automatic precision, reference plane extensions, and full vector analysis features, the National Instruments PXIe-5632 (Part Numbers: 782299-01 and 782299-02) Vector Network Analyzer is an ideal testing instrument for users’ validation and production operations. The NI PXIe-5632 VNA operates on a frequency range from 300 KHz to 8.5 GHz and has independent frequency bandwidths from 10 Hz to 500 KHz. These specifications allow the users to balance measurement speed and accuracy within their applications. The source access loops and low latency trigger allows users to achieve pulsed s-parameter measurements, including measurements requiring an extended power range.

The PXIe-5632 VNA facilitates seamless incorporation into test systems that combine a range of RF and mixed signal I/O devices without increasing the test equipment footprint. With the flexible APIs for both NI LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI software, users can quickly perform automated tests or use the full options featured on the soft front panel to perform user calibration and make measurements right out of the box.

The PXIe 5632 accepts a power range from +15 dBm to -30 dBm, 0.01 dB steps, and a dynamic range > 110 dB (typical) below 8 GHz. The powerful architectural design features dedicated ADCs, low latency triggers, power level control, dual sources, and source loops.
