The part number 776572-02B from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the SCXI-1102B Voltage Input Module. This module is designed for signal conditioning of thermocouple units, voltage sources, millivolt sources, and current sources. The signal conditioning sources compatible with this module should have a current range of 4 mA to 20 mA or 0 mA to 20 mA. The 4 mA to 20 mA helps with troubleshooting and open loop testing to make sure that the signal conditioning source is working even when the signal transmitted is zero which is 4 mA in current.
