The NI SCXI-1302 (Part Number: 777687-02) is a member of the SCXI Series manufactured by National Instruments. The SCXI-1302 is a 50-screw Front-Mount Terminal Block. This model is highly recommended for use with the SCXI-1180 Feedthrough Panel. This Terminal Block mounts to the front of the SCXI module. The screw terminals allow for simple signal connection with the feedthrough panel.
The SCXI-1302 has several beneficial features to help make signal connections as seamless as possible. The SCXI 1302 is shielded to ensure swift, reliable signal connections. This Terminal Block has rack-mount and DIN-rail-mount options as well. This model also has strain-relief clamps to guarantee the signal wires are securely in place. The National Instruments SCXI 1302 Feed-Through Terminal Block gives connections directly to transducers at the screw terminals in a completely shielded casing.
To set up the SCXI-1302, there are several items required, including: the Installation Guide, a wire insulation stripper, a wire cutter, long-nose pliers, ¼ in. and 1/8 in. flathead screwdrivers, No. 1 and No. 2 Philips-head screwdrivers, an SCXI chassis, and an SCXI-1180 feedthrough panel. The NI SCXI 1302 has 26-16 AWG maximum field wire gauge and DC coupling. The corner frequency is 0.16 Hz 1-pole RC. The DC rejection capacity of this Terminal Block is ±50 VDC.
The SCXI-1302 is run using the NIDAQmx driver software which can be programmed using software packages or application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, ComponentWorks, and so on. The device can be configures using the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool. The NI device is designed to comply with the following electrical safety standards: IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, UL 61010-1, and CSA 61010-1.
