National Instruments 784977-01 PXI Ethernet Interface Module

The National Instruments 784977-01 or PXIe-8240 is a high performance Ethernet interface module designed for PXI Express systems. It features two 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ ports that enable efficient data transfer over 40GBASE-SR4 optic or Copper Direct Attach cables. The module delivers up to 40 GbE data rate per port and provides robust Ethernet connectivity for high bandwidth applications. The module is powered by the Intel XL710 Ethernet controller which ensures reliable and fast communication in demanding industrial and research environments.

The 784977-01 connects via a Gen3 x8 PCI Express link that ensures maximum data throughput when paired with a PXI Express Gen3 x8 chassis. This single slot 3U PXI Express peripheral module is compact yet offers high speed performance.
