National Instruments 786426-01 CompactRIO Controller

Often known as the cRIO-9056, the National Instruments 786426-01 is a reliable and easily deployable controller made especially for control and data collecting applications. With 1 GB of DDR3L DRAM and 4 GB of SSD storage, it has a 1.33 GHz dual-core Intel Atom E3805 processor. Operating within a temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C, this controller is designed to withstand challenging conditions.

Due to its Artix-7 75T FPGA and eight slots for C Series modules, the 786426-01 is a very flexible device that may be used for a wide range of control and measurement applications. The operating system it runs is NI Linux Real-Time, which makes use of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technologies to provide deterministic communication over the network and dependable results. In order to accommodate various application requirements, the system can be programmed using the LabVIEW FPGA module or NI-DAQmx drivers.

Using Planar SLC NAND technology, the 786426-01 controller's memory consists of 4 GB of nonvolatile SSD memory and 1 GB of DDR3L DRAM, which has a maximum theoretical data throughput of 8.533 GB/s. It has data throughput capabilities of 40 MB/s to a microSD card and 100 MB/s via the USB Type-C connection for real-time streaming performance.
