Keysight E1441A Arbitrary Waveform Generator
Keysight's E1441A Arbitrary Waveform Generator is a C-size, single-slot, message-based VXI module made to satisfy the needs of a range of testing and measurement uses. Utilizing state-of-the-art direct digital synthesis technology, the E1441A offers exceptional performance at a far lower cost than comparable arbitrary function generators. This solution is essential for users that want precise waveform creation for a wide range of frequencies and applications, including both user-defined and standard waveforms.
Standard built-in waveforms including sine, square, triangle, ramp, noise, sin(x)/x, exponential rise and fall, cardiac, and DC voltage are included with the E1441A. It can also be used to create custom, arbitrary waveforms, which makes it appropriate for complicated signal creation jobs. This generator can handle waveforms up to 16,000 points in length, with a 12-bit resolution and a sample rate of 40 MSa/s. Its non-volatile memory ensures dependability and user-friendliness.
Users can perform a variety of signal testing with this module's internal modulation features, which include AM, FM, FSK, and burst modulation in addition to linear and logarithmic sweep functions. Because the output is isolated from earth ground, common mode noise and ground loops are greatly reduced, improving signal integrity and accuracy in delicate measurement situations.
The E1441A provides Option 001, which introduces a high-stability timebase with a remarkable 0.1 ppm/month frequency stability, for applications that require greater frequency stability. Additionally, this feature allows for external phase lock, which ensures accurate and consistent signal generation across various systems by enabling synchronization to an external reference or the ability to phase lock several E1441A units together.
