NI-5761, 500 MHz, 4-Channel Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO
National Instruments NI-5761 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO
Featured with a 250 MS/s sampling rate, the National Instruments NI-5761 is a Digitizer Adapter Module designed for FlexRIO based systems. This 500 MHz Bandwidth, 14-Bit module works in conjunction with a compatible PXI FPGA Controller or Module- a combination that builds a high-speed, high-efficiency digitizer that can sample four channels simultaneously.
This module is offered in two different configurations: AC-coupled (Part Number: 781287-01) and DC-coupled (Part Number: 781287-02). The NI-5761 offers 4, 14-bit simultaneously sampled channels, along with 8 general purpose digital I/O channels. The front panel of this module contains 1 AUX I/O connector, 4 LEDs for custom configurations, a CLK IN connector, a TRIG connector, and 4 analog input channel connectors (CH 0, CH 1, CH 2, CH 3, and CH 4). This Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO comes with a component-level IP (CLIP). The CLIP defines the interface between the module and LabVIEW software.
The National Instruments NI 5761 module comes with an integrated 250 MHz, fixed frequency synthesizer type sample clock, as well as a 10 MHz reference clock. However, an external sample and reference clock can also be used with this Digitizer Adapter Module through the CLK IN connector or IoModSyncClock. The CLK IN connector on this module is a SMA, 50 Ω connector that supports AC input coupling. On the other hand, the external trigger connector incorporated in the National Instruments NI 5761 is also an SMA connector, but it supports DC input coupling instead.
