Featuring 16 single ended analog input channels, USB-6221 (Part Numbers: 780117-01, 780117-02, 780117-03, 780117-04, 780117-06, 780117-07, 780117-09, 780117-10, 780117-12, 195959-02 and 195840C-02) is a Multifunction I/O Device from the M Series by National Instruments. The analog input of the device can also be configured as 8 differential channels, providing versatile connectivity options. In addition, the NI USB-6221 is equipped with 2 analog output channels and 24 digital I/O lines. Both the analog input and the analog output capabilities of the I/O device acquire samples at a maximum rate of 250 kS/s. Part number 780117-09 (Korea) has a voltage of 220 VAC, while the voltage of part number 780117-10 (China) is 220 V. Part number 780117-12 (Taiwan) has the lowest voltage at 110 V. In addition, part number 195959-02 represents the board only version of the NI USB-6221 I/O Device.

By using compatible signal conditioning accessories (SCC or SCXI), the NI USB-6221 is capable of high-voltage measurements. The digital I/O lines of the device can be used for pulse-width modulation to control lamps, pumps, valves, fans, motors, and other equipment.
